TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Motorcycles for Hire
We have a small modern fleet of twin-cam Harley-Davidson motorcycles
for hire. Most are equipped with saddle bags or standard pannier
bags and/or tour boxes for luggage. Racks have also been fitted
to some bikes to accommodate wet-weather clothing or an extra
small bag. We endeavour to hold your choice of motorcycle
however as our fleet is small it may not always be possible
to provide what you request, therefore bikes are reserved
on a first in/first served basis.
Motorcycle Use
Motorcycles hired from Road Hawk NZ Harley Tours Ltd shall
only be ridden within the scope of the guided tour itinerary.
Hirers will not be permitted unguided excursions.
Insurance
Motorcycle hire insurance is included in package price (riders
under the age of 25 years of age will incur additional insurance
premiums). Any excess as determined by insurance policy shall
be paid by the hirer. Travel, accident and medical cover is
not provided therefore we advise that your travel insurance
package includes an extension to provide for an insurance
claim excess of approximately NZ$3,000. A deposit bond for this amount will be required.
Drivers License
You must have a full license to drive a motor vehicle in New
Zealand and it must have a motorcycle endorsement enabling
the holder to ride any motorcycle above 600cc. An international
drivers license must also show the same motorcycle endorsement.
Meals
A light breakfast and most buffet/set menu dinners will be
provided through out the tour. Any special requirements or
additions to this must be discussed with Road Hawk NZ Harley
Tours Ltd prior to booking your tour and will be confirmed
in writing or email communication. If additional payment is
required this will be negotiated at that time.
Tour Payment
Tour bookings require a NZ$1,000.00 deposit. Total tour price
